As we now, tattoos are a way to people express themselves what they feel. Tattoos where born in different places of the world, with different meanings, the most famous came from the Maori culture According to the image, we can say that the caption defends de use of tattoos, trying to stop the stereotyping and discrimination to people that have these on his body.
Also, as
people discriminates the wear of tattoos, they classified them as delinquents,
crazy persons and people that only make disorder in the "structure"
of the world. If a person have tattoos on his body, or they use rare
clothe, there is no argument to say that he is a bad person or in this case makes
him a bad parent, just because of his appearance.
Tattoos
are negatively stereotype by many people around the world; they treat them like “un-cultural”
persons that put tattoos just to call the attention and make “disorder” in the
structure of the world. They are perceived as irresponsible, rebellious,
uncivilized and unintelligent. It’s obvious in today’s world that not all
people who have a tattoo fall into any of these categories. Tattooing is
becoming increasingly more acceptable, but there is still a stereotype that
comes with the territory of having tattoos even in today’s world. In
relation to the Maori culture, everybody tattoos their bodies, especially on
their faces and arms, and for them is normal, and nobody feels uncomfortable
because it is part of his culture.
Tattoos
have been a way to identify people in many ways, for example when the Nazi
tattoo the Jewish people with a number to identify them with it. But they were
force to tattoo that number. Today, we can say that people tattoo themselves to
identify with a lot of things, and they are not force to do it. For example, I
have seen soccer players tattooing themselves with the name of their kids in
their arms, also people that tattoo things like a skull or a dragon to be look
as more aggressive people. So, they are many things that make people tattoo
themselves.
In so
many ways, tattoos are considering body art, because of their design and
purpose that they have. Tattoos are made to express what a person feels in so
many ways such us love or pain. According to the caption of the image, the
captions tries to explain that tattoos are not a way to give a person an aggressive
or rare character, but they in some way define the identity.
Very interesting fact.
